Billionaire Pays for Young Man’s Rare Surgery

by Victor Adetimilehin

A young man with a rare medical condition has received a generous donation from a Ghanaian billionaire to fund his surgery. The man, identified as Bismark, suffers from a condition that causes his body to swell abnormally. He was in need of GH¢80,000 (about $13,800) to undergo a life-saving procedure. His plight caught the attention of Clinton Yeboah, a philanthropist and owner of Bones Man TV, who appealed for help on social media.Among the many people who responded to the call was Ibrahim Mahama, the founder of Engineers and Planners, a leading construction company in Ghana. Mahama is also the brother of former president John Mahama.

According to Yeboah, Mahama paid the full amount for Bismark’s surgery and also offered to support him after the operation. “Help me say a very big thank you to this great man Mr Ibrahim Mahama for this huge support,” Yeboah wrote on Instagram. He also shared a video of Bismark partially levitating on a magnet, which he said was a sign of his superconductivity. Bismark has been admitted to the hospital and is expected to undergo the surgery soon.

Mahama’s gesture has been praised by many social media users, who commended him for his kindness and generosity. “God bless him and elevate him in all spheres of his life. You are a gem,” one user wrote. “God bless you so much, Sir. Awww, this man,” another user commented. Mahama is known for his philanthropic activities, especially in the areas of education, health, and sports. He has donated to various schools, hospitals, and sports teams in Ghana and abroad. He is also the founder of the Dzata Cement factory, which is expected to reduce the cost of cement in Ghana and create employment opportunities.

Mahama has said that his motivation for giving back to society is to inspire others to do the same and to make a positive impact on the lives of the less privileged. “I believe that we have a responsibility to help those who are in need, especially in these challenging times. I hope that by doing this, I can encourage others to do the same and make a difference in the world,” he said.
