With hundreds of attendees eager to take advantage of last-minute deals and discounts, the 2024 Ecobank-JoyNews Habitat Fair concluded smoothly on Saturday at the Accra International Conference Centre.

Hundreds of exhibitors showcase a wide range of home essentials

With the theme “Get a House, Make it a Home,” the four-day event drew hundreds of exhibitors and a sizable number of potential homeowners and industry participants.

This year’s fair gave potential homeowners a special chance to look at a variety of household necessities and learn important information about buying a home in Ghana. Industry professionals who met with visitors gave crucial guidance on negotiating the home-buying process.

Exhibitors displayed a range of goods and services, such as building supplies and home security systems, that address various phases of homeownership. Ecobank Ghana, the main sponsor, offered on-site advice on mortgage financing and other financial services, highlighting adjustable repayment terms to increase the accessibility of homeownership. By getting involved, Ecobank demonstrated its dedication to helping the housing industry and meeting the financial needs of prospective homeowners.

Key players and businesses from the real estate, construction, and artisanal sectors used the expo as a one-stop shop where they could showcase their creative ideas and provide enticing deals on goods and services.

Myjoyonline stated that with a vast selection of building supplies and home accents, attendees referred to the event as the biggest housing and construction show in the nation. Plan City Extension, Virtual Security Africa, STL Superlock, Elegant Homes, Cities and Habitats, Devtraco Woodlands, Sintex Tank, DBS Industries, Everlast, DPS Pipes, G&J Technical Services Ltd., and DBS Roofing were among the sponsors and exhibitors.

Exhibitors report impressive sales and new business opportunities

JoyNews and Ecobank were commended by numerous exhibitors for their fair organisation. According to Lesh Fortune Ltd. CEO Llia Hajema Nafrah, the fair offered a great venue for significant business prospects. In addition to confirming plans to attend the 2025 edition, Jessy Nzanba of Shanis HSE Solution reported outstanding sales over the four days of the exhibition.

Rehoboth Social Housing Ltd. sales executive Georgina reported that a large number of customers visited their stand, took brochures, and made plans to visit their locations soon.

Once again, the Ecobank-JoyNews Habitat Fair 2024 was a historic occasion that brought together experts in the industry and potential homeowners to promote Ghana’s building and housing industries.
