Safari Valley opens doors to young environmental explorers

The event, which offered a distinctive outdoor learning experience with an emphasis on sustainability and conservation, brought together 180 kids from Hansen Road SDA School and 100 students from Morning Star School.

Through experiential learning, the project, which is a partnership between Joy FM and Safari Valley, seeks to motivate young people to address environmental issues.

The immense biodiversity of Safari Valley replaced traditional classrooms, allowing participants to witness wildlife, identify rare plant species, and learn about conservation principles.

CEO welcomes students, highlighting eco-friendly park innovations

The CEO of Safari Valley, a graduate of Hansen Road SDA School, gave this year’s event a personal touch by cordially welcoming kids from his old institution. Safari Valley’s camp manager, Iris Nii Quaye, highlighted the eco-park’s dedication to sustainability by highlighting its creative designs.

She emphasised the park’s incorporation of conservation into its operations by explaining that “our golf hazards aren’t just for play; they double as safe habitats for fish and cooling spaces for water birds.”

According to myjoyonline, the campaign was greatly aided by sponsors Alpay Limited and IDT. Ebenezer York, speaking on behalf of Alpay Limited, emphasized the value of fostering in the next generation a love of the natural world.

“We can ensure a greener future if young people take the lead,” York stated.

The Joy FM/Safari Valley Eco Initiative is changing environmental education in Ghana by making it more interesting and effective as it expands. Students are urged to spread awareness of sustainability by bringing the skills they have learnt back to their communities, homes, and schools.

This collaboration between Safari Valley and Joy FM represents a dedication to fostering Ghana’s youth as the country’s future environmental stewards, opening the door to a more environmentally friendly world.
