Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, the running mate for the governing New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) presidential candidate, has called on Ghanaians to vote for Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia in the upcoming election, emphasizing his qualities of leadership, integrity, and unity.
During a campaign tour of the Bekwai Constituency in the Ashanti Region, Dr. Prempeh, commonly referred to as NAPO, praised Dr. Bawumia’s track record as Vice President and his ability to inspire trust among Ghanaians.
“The energy that greeted us in Bekwai yesterday was truly inspiring. It sends a clear message that the people are solidly behind Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia on his visionary path toward a future full of possibilities,” NAPO remarked during the campaign.
Trustworthy leadership
NAPO emphasized that Dr. Bawumia’s accommodating and humble nature makes him the ideal candidate to lead Ghana, noting his consistent ability to maintain unity.
According to 3news, he also highlighted Dr. Bawumia’s unwavering honesty and integrity, noting that his political career has never been tainted by corruption.
According to Dr. Prempeh, this makes Dr. Bawumia the perfect leader for Ghana. He referenced visible progress in areas like infrastructure, power stability, and healthcare under Bawumia’s vice presidency.
He also commended Bawumia’s initiatives aimed at job creation and business growth, stating that “the people simply cannot wait for the Ghanaian future of renewed hope and prosperity.”
Appeal to Ghanaians
Dr. Prempeh urged Ghanaians to continue canvassing support for both Dr. Bawumia and the NPP’s Parliamentary Candidate for the Bekwai Constituency, Ralph Poku-Adusei.
He emphasized the need for a massive voter turnout to secure a resounding victory in December’s elections.
Ralph Poku-Adusei assured constituents that he would work diligently to bring much-needed development to the area and urged them to vote massively for the NPP.
