John Mahama Will Win 2024 Election – Goosie Tanoh

Goosie Tanoh Foresees a John Mahama Presidency in the 2024 Election

Augustus Goosie Tanoh, a well-known member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), gave a powerful speech to party members amid the tense political climate in Ghana. He expressed confidence that former president John Dramani Mahama will win the presidency in the upcoming 2024 elections during a meeting in Ajumako, Central Region, with the goal of bridging the gaps in the country’s ethnic, religious, and age divisions.

The June 4th anniversary, a crucial turning point that sparked the Fourth Republic of Ghana, was celebrated during the event with the theme “Unity, loyalty, and vigilance for victory 2024.” Tanoh, a founding member of the NDC and a former advisor to Jerry John Rawlings, the revolutionary leader of Ghana, emphasized the importance of this historic event. He promoted a wider national agenda, highlighting the togetherness created by earlier sacrifices.

Tanoh criticized the way the present administration is managing the economy, drawing comparisons to the terrible circumstances Ghana encountered forty-five years ago. A collapsing currency, rising rates of poverty, widespread corruption, high rates of youth unemployment, and economic mismanagement are just a few of the issues he cited as having returned and highlighting the urgent need for change.

The speech also turned into a tribute to the NDC’s founding members and those who helped Ghana become a democratic nation. Tanoh recognized a number of leaders, including the late Mike Akpatsu and individuals like Samuel Garba and Yaw Akrasie Sarpong, for their enduring contributions to the political and social fabric of the country. He spoke warmly of the late Flt Lt. J.J. Rawlings, whose legacy of accountability and transformation continues to inform the NDC’s roadmap for Ghana.

Tanoh emphasized the need for alertness and urged all NDC members, especially the youth, to keep a close check on the entire political process rather than simply the voting system. He emphasized the necessity for supervision to guarantee that the Ghana Police Service, the National Security Agency, the Electoral Commission, and the legal system support a free, fair, and peaceful electoral process.
